Family Reunion!

A couple Saturdays ago we had my mom’s side family reunion! It was fun we went to Steadman’s Ranch and just played!

After, we went for a drive up by sublett and me and Breck sat in lawn chairs in the back…rednecks!

Well it is officially fair week!  Doubt I will be getting to my blog this week…but one of these days I will update this last weekend…we went to see the Blue Angels and it was so wonderful!! Till then….have a great week!!

Logan July 18-20

Breck came to Logan with me for the past two weeks!!! It was a blast! She also helped me move to my new apartment last week which was a HUGE help!!  Anyways here are some pictures of our adventures!

I got a job in Logan teaching Zumba :)  It is a really nice place and way fun!!

Anytime we were bored we played football!

We also went ice blocking (summer sledding) down old main hill! Dangerous but dang fun!

Then at work we had a cake decorating day so I did this one and took it to Jake’s family! If you can’t tell, it’s a tie haha :)

Breck made the cute flower one which we enjoyed…every night :) haha

I also had to work at Dust Stormers which is a motorcycle camp.  Breck was able to learn to ride one which was fun!

Overall we had a blast!! She is freaking awesome sister and I’m so glad I have her! Ya we fight, but what sister doesn’t? haha

1st Package!

I sent Jake his first package about 2 weeks ago.  It is kinda lame because I am still new with all of this!  I don’t know what he can and can’t have or what he wants so ya just a few things.  He needed the hair clippers and I made that weekly countdown (more to come on that later) and then a tie and some jerky and gum! That is about all I could really think of that he didn’t have or would maybe want!  If you have any good ideas for packages I would love the suggestions :)

Oh also this is my new set up in my room…just a few random things that keep me going! :)  By the way, Jake is doing fabulous and said he is learning the language quicker than he expected..he also found out he is there until September 10th!

Oakley July 16th

Yes I am that far behind on blogging :)  My dad, sister, and I went for a ride up to Oakley!  It was fun…we did some fishing, caught grass hoppers, got in a rain storm, saw some animals, and got a rattle off a rattlesnake!!  It was such a fun evening drive!

Farewell!

Jake’s farewell was on the 8th of July! It was a pretty tough day for me…but also happy!!  He did so good on his talk (especially the wonderful joke he told at the beginning) Everyone that knows Jake knows that he is a jokester so the joke that might not have been Sacrament appropriate made most of us laugh :) 

Afterwards he had a dinner at West Minico and it was so great to see all of his friends and family there!  I tried to get some pictures but thanks to my mamma I got enough :)

I had to add this picture just because it is the only one of just Jake and me (is it just me or do I look super depressed) haha!!  Let’s just say I’m so glad that day is over and so glad he has finally got his mission started!! We waited for 2 1/2 years for this so now that it is finally here all we have to do is wait it out :)

4th of July

The 4th of July was wonderful (yes I know I am so behind on blogging!!)  I went to the parade with my family to watch Breck in the parade!

This is Paige and me…I hadn’t seen her for forever but we have been friends since Kindergarten so it was way fun to see her :)

This is a scary picture but after the parade I went with Jake to his family reunion and we went boating!  We also got to watch the fireworks in the river on a boat and it was sooo wonderful :)  A wonderful way to spend the 4th with Jakers before he left for 2 years!!
