Weekend F.U.N.

Three day weekend!! I headed home Friday and don’t have to go back until tomorrow!  It has been wonderful to be home for a couple days.  We got to go 4-wheeling and just hang out!

*Sunday we spent the day as a family-Austin (who went snowmobiling) and went 4-wheeling up by Oakley.

*It was a bit dusty…my mom was in the middle and got this dusty!

*I swear there is never a dull moment with this girl!  Here she wouldn’t let me get on the 4-wheeler and shoved me off once I did get on!

*We had to cross a couple creek spots…this one dropped off quiet a bit but the one after it went all the way up to the 4-wheeler seat!

*I’m not sure what happened on the way home but we both got a bit energetic!

*When we got home we tossed around a football for awhile and once again were a bit hyper!

It’s not everyday that I get to be with my family anymore so when I do…we try to make the most of it :)  This was definitely a weekend full of memories!

Weekend with my Dad :)

This last weekend I went home and it was just pretty much me and my Dad for the weekend.  My mom and Brecken were in Las Vegas for a cheer competition and Austin has a friend down so me and my Dad hung out! 

We got up early and fed each day.  Saturday was his birthday so I made him his favorite cake and I took him to dinner to Stevo’s for his birthday.  He checked out my car which has been giving me problems and the water to the cows also got messed up so we had to put in a new water pump and sand point.  It was so fun to get to spend some time with just my dad.  It’s not very often when it is just us so we made the most out of it and had fun!

Flooding Apartment

We had an interesting Wednesday night.  Me and Carly decided to go to dinner then to the USU basketball game to get away from homework.  While we were there we got a phone call from our roommate saying our apartment was flooding.  Well let me fill you in….Carly had surgery and is on crutches.  There is no parking close enough to the game so I carried her and her crutches up the massive hill so we could watch the game.  After getting there is when we got the call and I had to run back down the hill with her on my back to get to my apartment quick.  It was a workout for sure haha but we had fun!  We came back to definitely a flooded apartment…luckily for my amazing roommates they moved all of my important things so they did not get ruined!

I got lucky and this is all it did to my bathroom…along with filling the floor with water which I never got a picture of.

My roommates old room….it has been an adventure and very bonding experience for us haha! Thankfully it is mostly under control now and everything is getting fixed!

3/4 Done!! 18 months down!

I am a little late on this but just wanted to be excited and say 18 MONTHS DOWN :)  It seems like time has picked up majorly and I am starting to really see all of the things I still have to accomplish in these next few months!  I am so excited for it though!  Jake sounds great and I just can’t believe we are already at the last quarter of his mission!  He is the best missionary and I really couldn’t be more blessed to have him!! He always knows just what to say and has made these past 18 months much better than I could have ever imagined them.  Looking back time has not gone fast yet it has.  It’s really a weird concept that I don’t think I will really ever fully understand but it has been the best experience.  We have both become better people and grown together through this journey so far!  I just know I am a dang lucky girl…also I got picture this week :)  Coming from a girl that misses her other half pretty badly…nothing could make me happier!!

We are both trying to give it our all and accomplish a lot these last few months!  Here is to letting the last 6 months count…..AND of course {{{fly by}}}}}
