Crazy FUN!

So Saturday Jake and all his cousins decided to go snowmobiling with dates again, which made 10 of us.  I stayed with his cousin Jessica and we had a BLAST!  She was so fun to stay with and I will definitely being doing that again!

*We stayed up till 4am both nights talking and then woke up about 6am Saturday to make cookies and that is where the adventure started!  Let me tell you functioning on only a couple hours of sleep provided quiet the entertainment.  She had this plastic container to put the cookies in when she quickly found out it smelled like Salsa.  We literately tried everything to get that smell out and nothing worked!

*By the way her cookies are amazing…seriously amazing!

This is Jessica microwaving the lid of the container with soap trying to get the smell off of.  She went to get it out of the microwave and it burned her hand and she threw it in the air which led to another mess haha.

*We finally went to the store to get a plastic container to put those cookies in but it was some fun entertainment!

The roads were so bad that they had to close them…luckily we made it to the cabin before they closed them on us.  This is a semi off the road.

*It usually takes an hour but it took us 2 so when we finally got there in safety Jake dived into the snow…he is such an idiot haha!

We had a crazy fun day!  It is such a fun group to go with and more memories and friendships were made :)

V-Day

Well since there is some bit of distance between me and my guy, Valentine’s Day came a bit late but he for sure made up for it!

*I headed up to Rexburg last weekend to be with Jake and Friday he gave me my Valentine’s day present…it was AWESOME, plus he took me to dinner at Pizza Pie Café, and he even took me to a dance…..my man spoils me!

This is a letter of like 30 heart pages that he wrote to me.  It had a lot of our past dates and memories in it and yes I bawled like a baby when I read it.

Then he got me the coolest thing ever…….A 7 FT TALL TEDDY BEAR!!! 

*This seriously made me so happy and the little candy gram on it once again made me tear up!

But now when he leaves for 2 years I got myself a buddy :) 

*Yup my new friend even sleeps by me :)

I am one lucky girl….Oh and his papers, they are officially in. 

*My emotions=happy, sad, nervous, scared, excited, anxious, ready, and so much more.  Needless to say I’m ready for this challenge and I’m lucky to get to go through it with such a great guy!

Craft Project

Me and Breck got to do a little craft project my mom had for us last weekend!  It was so fun :) I know Easter is a few weeks away but who doesn’t love decorations!?!

All it is is paint swatches cut in half, then traced with an egg shape template, cut out,  2 mini hole punches at the top, and strung onto a string!  My mamma got it off Pinterest so if you want the egg template you can type in Easter garland and it comes up I think haha :)  If not let me know and I can get it for you!

Crystal Hot Springs

I have a very hard time posting without pictures but unfortunately I gotta do it today haha!  This week Jake came down and we got to go swing dancing again and to Crystal Hot Spring!  It was so much fun but I have ZERO pictures!  Can you believe that? …neither can I!  Anyways it was a lot of fun and added to our memory making which is always good!  It also let me put studying on hold and just hang out with my best friend!

Life is Good!

I was holding my keys today, just like any other day, and looked down at my key chain (like always).  But today was different I saw how it said “Life is Good” and I thought to myself yes it is!  I feel like I am in such a wonderful time of my life right now and I can’t help but feel so lucky and grateful for all that I have.  I have an amazing family who supports me in all that I do and a best friend who I can always go to and would do anything for me (like I would for him), along with everyone else that I have such good friendships with.  I just saw my keychain and instead of just reading “life is good” I really thought about it and I realized I need to stop taking it for granted.  Instead of letting homework, jobs, and apartments stress me out, I need to look at how much I have and be grateful for it!

2 Years!

It has been 2 years since I met my best friend.  2 YEARS!!! Can you believe that!  A part of me feels like I have known him forever and the other part of me can remember our first date perfectly!  I just can’t believe how far we have come since it all started if you don’t remember that story you can see it here.

Let the good times roll…

Lately I’ve been having so much fun and I’ve been able to do so much with Jake.  I know that I’m going to miss these days because we have a lot of fun together!  I am so ready for him to just get his mission call and get out there but I am enjoying these good times! I know I take a million pictures but I want to remember these moments :)  This is from this past weekend we were able to go up to their cabin in Island Park with his family and we had a blast!

We carved this tree last February when I went up with him and then we added another date when we went up in the summer.

I was surprised he was able to get me into this dance move out of the snow in all of our snow clothes…stud :)

I’ve got myself one heck of a guy and I’m so grateful for him!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

Light bulb

Pinterest can be somewhat addicting and I find myself wasting time trying the stuff on there because it never seems to work.  This time though I tried something and it DID work!!

First I got the bottom undone and was cleaning out all of the glass inside the bulb.  I was all done and ready to put it on the block of wood when I dropped the dang bulb in my sink and it shattered.  I was so mad because it took me around an hour and it was 11pm and I wanted it done by the next day.  So I started over and succeeded!  It is pretty cheesy I know but I thought it was cute and when I went to see Jake this last weekend I gave it to him.  He probably thought it was really cheesy but he said he loved it which made it all worth it :)

La la la la la

Dancing is something I absolutely love doing!  Soooo….I think I’ve kinda drug Jake into liking dancing as well because he comes down to Logan every once in awhile to go to the swing dancing down here. (either that or for Texas Roadhouse I’m not quite sure) haha Anyways he came down this week and we went dancing it was so much fun.  We have just been teaching ourselves but we have learned a lot and love it.

Fun, cute, and crazy!

Those words up there…ya they describe my little sister :)  Last weekend I came home to go to her cheer competition in Pocatello and they kicked butt!  The cute one is my sister she is on the left in the first couple pictures.  I’m a little late on posting these but it was so much fun and it made me miss competition a little bit.  I loved the adrenaline rush of waking up at 6am just to rush to the competition and wait several hours for it to start!  Any ways enjoy these cute girls :)
