Procrastinator!

I am the biggest procrastinator this semester…it’s terrible!! All weekend I had so much homework to catch up on…but I have the most fun friends and ya…homework got put aside again until now (the night before)  That is what college is all about though right? 

Ok so Saturday I hung out with my friend Beth for most of the day! We both have guys out on missions and she got a LETTER!! I had to document it for her…doesn’t she just look so happy :)  It is hilarious how a letter totally makes your day now! 

Anyways we had a girls day: made pizza, cookies, watched a chick flick, hung out with more friends, played flag football until Midnight, then crashed a birthday party and played games until 2am. It was a very adventurous evening!

The whole crew haha!  These girls are seriously the best! :)

Sunday was the Brigham City Temple Dedication so since I practically live with Katelyn and Carly, we all went together! Then we had a brunch with some other friends and then we sang to the elderly with our ward…it was awesome! According to the elderly, my name is different,  I was in Kentucky, and I have a husband that I didn’t know about! haha I try to go every weekend I am in Logan because they just make my day!!

These two are hilarious…I am so lucky to have such awesome friends!!

Loving a Missionary!

I came across this poem and yes it describes my life haha :)  I mainly am posting this just because I want to look back and remember how these days feel!

Loving a missionary isn't all sappy,
the life it demands of you isn't so happy.
It's mostly the having, but not getting to hold,
it's being so young and feeling so old.
Its life of skimmed milk without the cream,
and being in love with a wonderful dream.
Yes, loving your missionary means "Good-bye" at the plane,
and two years must pass before you see him again.
You reluctantly and painfully let him go,
while you are aching inside for wanting him so.
Then you wait for his word that everything is well,
and bide through a miserable letter less spell.
Then comes the mail, and you're giddy with joy,
and you pounce like a child with a shiny new toy.

I don’t know if it mentioned spending your Saturday nights photoshopping yourself into his pictures but ya…I do that too!  I know, I know….it really does look pathetic and I swore I would never be one of THOSE girls but hey, I have to feel closer to him somehow he is my best friend!! :)

Jake and made it safely to Romania and has had a crazy first week there but all is well and he is in the city of Ploiesti and has a native companion so that is great!  He has already had some crazy experiences and I can’t wait to hear from him next week :)

Cousins!!

We had family BBQ today and had to have some pictures of the cousins :) We were lucky to get any good ones because we were all laughing and having so much fun! It is always so much fun when ALL of us are there :)

Wow week 95…I’m not going to lie you snuck up on me!! I LOVE THAT!! This has been one INSANE week!! I started Practicum which means my days start at 8 and then I get out of the Elementary at 4 then head to my night classes until 7pm then head to Zumba from 7:30-8:30 and then come home and do homework (who am I kidding I don’t really do homework), take a shower and head to bed! Let’s just say it is a good thing my boyfriend is FOREVER away right now because he would feel very neglected and my weekends, which used to be reserved for him, are now reserved for homework!!! I am so OK with this new crazy schedule of mine because it makes time MOVE!! I love it and I love the class I got put in…it’s a second grade class and it is the sweetest thing because they all know about Jake and ask about him and they all have already stole my hearts! I love each of them and I would put up pictures but that is not allowed!  They say the sweetest things, they give me huge hugs, and they make me feel loved while Jakester is doing what he needs to do! I know I have found the right career path for me because these young children seriously touch my heart!! Anyways of that this has been a great week because I also got a phone call from my best friend in the entire world :) It was awesome!! It was so great to hear from him…it really reassured my heart! 95 weeks left though and 2 months down!!!

My new monthly countdown!! It was a project I started when I was supposed to be doing homework :)  I made all 24 months just so I could rip 2 off haha! Anyways have a GREAT week!!!!

Airport Call!!!

?!?!?!?!??!!!!!!!!!!!   That is how I feel right now…my mind doesn’t know whether it was real or a fantasy! I just got off of the phone with Jake!! Yes for real! He left the MTC today and was going to call me between 9 and 10 today before he flew out of Salt Lake but he never did so I was so sad but knew things probably just came up that didn’t allow him to call me! A part of me was also relieved because I knew I would be an emotional wreck as soon as I hung up (which I will tell you is completely accurate!)  Anyways I got out of class at 2:50 and the second I got home I got a call from a (734) number which I honestly didn’t really think about because in Logan there is the (735) prefix a lot! So I answered it and the reply was “hey baby” I flipped out…Jake could be the witness to this haha! I was soo happy and it was so unexpected! We both just kept asking “how are you” because I don’t think we could really think haha (that made no sense I know)  Anyways it felt like 2 seconds but I just looked and we got to talk for 20 min. and 23 seconds haha! It was awesome sooo great!  It really reassured me about how much he loves me and how much I love him! I am so excited for him to be out of the MTC because I know he was ready to get out!  He is doing so great he said he is so busy today and they almost missed their first flight which made me laugh because I had a dream that they did haha!  He has a couple more flights…one from Detroit, Michigan to Amsterdam, Netherlands and then From the Netherlands to Romania!! He should get to Romania at 5 am tomorrow! Wow that is a longs ways haha…Anyways I am rambling now but I just was going to update anyone that cares or reads this that Jacob is doing fabulous..he sounds soo good and is the same Jake I’m totally crazy about!  He is doing what he has always dreamed of doing and I cannot describe how proud I am of him! I’m so lucky to have this guy and I ask myself all the time how I got to be the lucky girl! :)  Now lets all just hope time starts flying…..haha!

Whata Game!!

Utah State football is AWESOME!!  It was so intense tonight against Utah Utes but Aggies took it 27-20!!!!

We all got free earmuffs so we HAD to use them!!

It was tied at the end of the game so we went into some overtime and Aggies got the win! :)

I LOVE football season!!!

Labor Day Weekend!

We started off the weekend by going to Wagon Days in Sun Valley….we do this every year so that was great!

Me and Breck are always trying to find something to do!! haha

Monday we went to the Twin Falls fair which is pretty normal too and that was wonderful as well!

These bears at the fair were crazy!! This is kinda a pathetic video but I tried to put them all together so you can see how dang cute they were!!

 

Then I didn’t have class Tuesday because I don’t start Practicum until next week so I went to my cousin Cord’s football game and then went and visited Jake’s parents and grandparents!!

It was such a great weekend! I love long weekends and even more I love spending them with my family!! You probably wonder why Austin is never in any pictures and that is because the man never stops working!! Anyways it was a great Labor Day Weekend!!

P.S. If you haven’t noticed the countdown to Jake coming home is going down!!!! Oh yes! :)  He leaves the MTC Monday!
