Love this man!

*He is on the right with his new companiaon Elder Austin Rodenberg in Ploiesti. Jake is on his 2nd transfer and his companion is only on his 3rd so they are having to really get the language down quick.

*Jake is the one lifting the other Elder up.

*He told me that this was his serious face haha :)

*They have been without power all last week so it sounds like it has been quiet the adventure.

*That is one handsome missionary :)

*I came across this quote and I just loved it so I thought I would share for any of you that are in similar situations :)

Every week Jake sends me a few pictures and so these were from Monday. I just love this guy! It amazes me how he can still make me feel so special from so far away. I’m a very lucky girl!!

Monthly Countdown :)

01-I made it! I never thought a month would come! I can finally see a little progress! It was kinda tough transitioning into this new routine but honestly easier than I imagined. Some days are harder than others but each day gets me one day closer to my best friend :)

02-A way harder month than month 1!! I feel like this month dragged on it hit me hard that I won't see him for 2 years :( Still lots of letters and a PACKAGE! ! But I must say it was a way harder month emotionally for me! BUT I got to talk to him from the airport!! Luckily time doesn't stop :)
03-My oh my, this is soo great! So the first half of this month flew and the second half dragged :) I am happy because at least some of it flew by! I am so proud of him and miss him everyday but at least time is picking up!!

04-Another month down! Hardest and longest month yet but we are both doing great and my man keeps working hard :) 1/6 done!!!

05-Month 5 was the fastest month yet! Although the holidays are really hard, time is really starting to move and Jake is really growing so much! I'm so proud of him!
06-I'm not going to sugar coat it, this past month was way hard without him for the holidays...but we got to skype!! I love that boy :)
07-Such a fast month...quickest month yet although I don't think it will ever get easy. I also got my favorite letter this month! I'm a lucky girl!
08-Seriously has it really been another month! I can honestly say this month flew by. I am finding it hard to believe he is 1/3 done! We are both so happy and I love him more than ever!
09-I got my Valentines day package this month haha :) Not necessarily the fastest month but I grew to love Jake so much more!
10-Oh boy finally another month down! I never knew a relationship could become so strong through e-mails and letters but this month has really proved it! Jacob is one in a million :)
11-Not a day goes by that I don't think of Jake! He is such an awesome missionary and continues to make me feel loved. Only 1 month til the year mark!!
12-A year down!! Finally we can start running down hill! This month went faster thankfully....I'm ready to have my Jake back :) He is still in Cluj and doing awesome! It's so great to see how far we have come!
13-Really another month down! The downhill really does go faster...I don't know where this past month has gone. Jake spent a little time in the hospital but is doing better now. Even from another country, he makes me my happiest!
14-Yay another month down! It has been a little harder with school starting back up. I miss Jake everyday but wouldn't change this experience for the world!

15-Grateful for the way time is moving! This past month flew by and I am so excited to say single digits (9 months) to go!! Jake is more wonderful than ever and I'm a lucky girl :)

16-I can't believe it's already been another month down! They say the second half goes faster and it is flying by...with Jake getting busier and busier and me starting to teach time really has started ticking!
17-Ready for him to be home...Jake is doing great, I am doing great, and time is still flying! The holidays are always harder but hey...this is the last Christmas season without him!
18-Let these last few months fly by! I got to Skype him this month which was perfect...I love that guy! We are both keeping super busy and making the most out of this time left...can't believe we are 3/4 done!
19-Five months to go...a hard month but we have made it! I have missed my best friend a ton this month! It feels so close yet so far...I can't wait for Summer ;)
20-Ready for Summer! Both of us have stayed super busy this month and time has flown by! I am crazy about that guy...
21-Insane.....Jake came home this month for health reasons! He surprised me and things have picked up right where they left off. He is getting better and trying to get his health taken care of while I finish Student Teaching! Life is GREAT!
