Summer Adventures Week 1

I know I haven’t posted all week but maybe it will be easier to post week by week! 

Let’s see…Week 1 of my summer job has been quite the excitement!  The first day was hard because I didn’t know anyone and it was a bit of an adjustment…but the staff was all really awesome and I was able to make friends super quick.  We did a lot throughout the week but I only got pictures some days!  We played ‘Just Dance’ several times in the week in Orderville, I became a firefighter and put a fire out that started downstairs in our apartment, I got to do the zip line and rock climbing wall, we went into Kanab for dinner, there was a rodeo and barn dance, and a different event or staff games each night but the pictures start Thursday!

*Thursday we hiked the “V” in Orderville which was cool it was up a mountain and once we got to the top we could see across all of the mountain.

*Friday after work Destiny, Jenessa, and I went hiking into Zion to the Emerald Pools..we only had time for the Lower and Middle because we had to be back for a Zip lining event.

*Friday night I got to do the jeep tour because there was an extra seat and it was so pretty.  I went with my roommates friend which was also a lot of fun.  They take the jeep out every night at sunset.

**Sunday my roommate had to go to St. George for some things so I went with her.  When we got back we went to the Coral Sand Dunes which was really cool!

*Then later after the Sand Dunes we decided to do a longer hike.  was called ‘Deer Trap’ and it took us 4 hours but it was soo pretty!

Overall it has been an awesome first week and Carly got here today so I am sure this next week will be full of adventures as well!
