Week 6 Summer Adventures/Best Week Day 3 and 4

TONS OF PICTURES!!

Day 3:  We headed to the Grand Canyon but stopped at the Coral Pink Sand Dunes on the way!  They are soo neat but way hard to walk in…I wish my brother could have came though because I hate having all of these pictures without Aust in them!

*Dad couldn’t take the heat and became a major tourist with his outfit haha gotta love it!

*Grand Canyon…we got there and my dad walks up and goes “Wow it really is grand!”  It was pretty funny.  We did a couple little hikes around the canyon which was gorgeous!

*We wore the old man out :)

*It got so hot and me and Breck got so goofy!

*Jake would appreciate this picture since he loves Cars so much!!  It’s Mater! (which by the way…only 11 days til his year mar!!!)

*Once again ice cream :)

*This is called Moqui cave or something like that! It’s by Kanab and was way nice because it was cool inside not 100 degrees like outside!

*Then me and Breck roasted hot dogs….let me rephrase that…I roasted me and Breck hot dogs while she watched haha

*I don’t know if he is enjoying himself?

*Then we hit the pool again because it was soo hot! Going to the pool everyday with Kids Camp is fun but with my sister who is my best friend it was a BLAST!

*I think this picture could be used as some bad blackmail haha!

*Have you ever seen a whiter man?  Well check out the farmers tan in the next picture!

*Then of course we had to roast s’mores so we got out the headlamp!

*And went down by the lodge to play some mini golf…let’s just say we both need a little practice!

Day 4:  Me and my dad took my car and Breck and my mom took the pickup and we went an hour and a half north to Panguitch for the Hot Air Balloon festival.  We were too late to see the balloons but we saw a motorcycle parade and a dog contest which was fun! 

Then my family had to leave which I didn’t think would be hard but it was way hard.  I had a blast though and already really miss hanging out with them!  I only have 4 more weeks here though so I better take it all and enjoy it!! 

Then Sunday a lot of us ended up at the same church…half usually go at 9 and the other at 1 but today tons of us went at 9 so we got a picture of the Ponderosa crew :)

Week 6 Summer Adventures/Best Week Day 1 and 2

This week has been the best week this summer by far! My family came down to visit me and we had a blast.  There is a bit of a picture overload though because we had a lot of memories to capture!

Day 1:  Family got here Wednesday night and I showed them around the resort, we got the tent set up, and we ate at the diner…me and Breck got some awesome swords!

*Then we got ready to head swimming!  I am the whitest girl that works here yet Breck is normally way tanner than me so it has been proven that I’m not as white as usual :)

*Missed this little guy!

*And swimming was the end of day 1!

*Day 2 started off through Zion which I am lucky enough to get to drive through fairly often!

*They have a tunnel that is over 1 mile long and this is one of the views from the windows inside it.

*It’s rough when your little sister is stronger and taller than you!

*The shuttles didn’t let dogs go and it was over 100 degrees so I stayed with Charlie so everyone else could see Zion!  We went for a very long walk haha

*And I wore him out!

*We spent the day in St. George and have no pictures of it but it was super hot and ice cream became even more of my best friend! 

*I promised my family they would see mountain sheep in Zion and we never saw any until the very end so I didn’t have to break my promise…there were about 12 of them!

*Where I work…

*I took them to the famous Jolly’s house which is supposedly really scary!

*I talked Breck into zip lining and rock climbing which was way fun!

*Then I had to teach Zumba which is always exciting because after we get to jump in the pool!

*The clouds while at Zumba were so cool!
