Week 4 Summer Adventures

Nothing super adventurous has happened this week but it has been fun!  We had kids everyday but two which were our days off!

*Something about sleeping here isn’t the same so I always have to watch a movie to fall asleep to and I made this way cool invention (I like to think it’s cool).  I put my Ipad case in the bunk bed bars and it’s like a mini flat screen above me so I don’t have to hold it!  Then I put a blanket around the opening to keep the light from waking up all my roommates.  Bunk beds are good for something! 

*Everyday we go to the pool with the kids for a couple hours and we normally play in the pool with them but this day we went twice so the morning we just got to sit and make sure no one drowned…it was a tough job!

*Playing Bingo which is our favorite game!

*I have learned how to bring out my inner child (if it wasn’t already out enough) and we make forts and get to be a kid again!  That is the best part about my job :)

*These were my favorite kids we have had.  The two girls came from a deaf family so they both signed to each other and one was deaf and the 3 boys came from a punk family but were the nicest boys I have ever met.  They were the sweetest kids by far!

*Our day off we went to St. George shopping for groceries and Kids Camp stuff!  Sometimes it is so nice to get away from the resort!

*On our other day off me and Carly rode a tandem bike around the vacation homes and started a Harry Potter movie marathon since neither of us had seen them…it’s been pretty fun and we are on movie number 4!

*We had teenagers one day so we took them to Jolly’s Gulch which is a haunted house story and it was pretty exciting…Jolly’s house is behind us.

*Then Sunday we didn’t have kids so we got to go to church which was fabulous!  Then I went on a run for a half hour because it was so nice…except running up here is so hard because of the elevation change…I guess I still haven’t got used to it!

And this was the end of Week 4!
