Last week of Summer…

This week has been the best!! I love summer and since school starts tomorrow we had to make this last week the best :)

*Monday I did my favorite thing…mowed lawns!! Breck came with me and watched haha but I honestly love mowing the lawn so it was great…

*Monday evening I went with Staci and Kelsey to our ward activity which was floating the river and eating s’mores.  That was a blast…anything involving Staci or the water is fun so you can only imagine how fun it was to put them both together!

*Tuesday I went with my mom and dad to Sun Valley to see how bad the fires were…we saw a few little fires, helicopters putting them out, airplanes with retardant, and a big fire!  And on the way back they bought me a big ice cream from Shoshone…that was the best part!

*Tuesday night we had night games at our house so me and Breck invited our friends and that was fun…Josh (Jake’s brother) and his friends liked the chickens for some reason…

*We played fugitive and since Holli’s wrist is still healing from her surgery Staci, Holli, and me were the cops…we caught a couple of them :)

*I had to work in Logan on Thursday and Friday but the sunsets lately have been so pretty…Friday night I helped my dad irrigate and this was the sunset…he also came face to face with a skunk which was funny to watch!

*Saturday was the best day!! ME and Breck played in the water all day…we got bored and the tubes don’t fit in my car to go to the river so we made some accommodations and ended up floating the ditch by my Grandma’s house haha!  It was a blast!

*After we floated the ditch for a couple hours we got a Subway and Breck’s friend, Brenton (which is Jake’s cousin) asked us to go jet skiing so we ate our sandwich and headed to the river.

*It got super windy and there was even a tornado watch so we got out and this was the sunset back!

*Sunday afternoon I did a few projects for my room…here are the before pictures!

Burley Fair

I had to work in Logan for most of the week but had lots of fun while I was home…

*Monday me and Breck went over to Staci and Holli’s house and they made us lunch…it was so nice of them to do that…they are such great friends to us!

*That night 3 of my little cousins stayed at my house and we had pizza and ice cream for dinner :)

*I got home Friday and me and my family went to the rodeo!

*Breck was being a sassy pants when we were driving so I said why don’t you step out of the car haha and this is where I parked : )

*After the rodeo I was watching the little girls while Breck was with her friends and they were entertaining…cotton candy does miracles :)

*Saturday on the way to the fair to watch the horse races and rodeo…our sunglasses party…I’m lucky to have such fun little cousins to watch!

*We took a walk over to Smiths for some ice cream in between the races and rodeo.

*The cowboy hat is Karsen…he took a pig to the fair for the first time this year and did so good!! He is such a cute guy and every time I see him he asks me when Jake is coming home!! Karsen loves Jake!

*Sunday afternoon me and Breck took out my sound system and got a farm style weight lifting system going!  Everything is fun when I get to be home with this girl :)

*We also decided to do our annual frog hunting but there was no frogs and a million dragonflies so it turned into dragonfly hunting while riding the canal banks!

*When we got back we helped my dad get this new baby calf to eat…it is way tiny and so cute!!

*Then once it got cooler outside I went with my dad to kill some hornet nests…those guys are mean!!! It was entertaining though that is for sure!

Only one more week until school starts…I’m sad about that because I don’t want to go back!  I don’t have to work until Wednesday though so I’m excited to be home for a few days!!!
