This past summer was a blast. It was fun to finally have my man home and to be married. We got to go on lots of fun weekend adventures. In June we got to go to Provo to see Jake’s mission presidents homecoming. It was so fun to get to see all of the people that were such a big influence on him the past two years.
Me and my sister-in-law (and nephew ;) started attempting wood crafts which we obviously look crazy doing!
An adventure that Jake had was he made it to the top of Mount Borah! Him and a few of his brothers and brother in-laws decided to have a boys trip and climb Mount Borah. They didn’t all make it but they definitely all gave it their best shot!
I stayed at home and got to hang out with my good friend Staci! And obviously getting on the whale was a little harder than it looked!
I babysat two fun boys in the summer as well and one day my sister and I decided to take them to jump zone and play laser tag! It was a fun day out and by the end the boys were wore out.
We were able to do some jet skiing as well which is always fun!
My husband got the wonderful idea to rebuild a truck…so he took it from this
to this….and of course had to paint it his favorite color!
We were able to go to the fair this year and watch my sister show her pig and Jake decided to do the wild cow ride! He then decided to do the Cassia one as well and one of their team members got trampled and busted his leg so we ended up in the ER with his friend! It was an eventful night! Oh and I attempted my first haircut….not a huge success!
Jake and his brother Nate got to coach the younger kids in football so me and my sister-in-law were their cheerleaders!
To end our summer we bought a 5th wheel to live in for school! It is really nice and we love the adventures that came from it!
We also got to dance in the rain :)
