Conference

Last weekend was so fun.  Jake got us tickets to General Conference on Saturday and we had such a great time!  I had never been and it was a way neat experience.  It was a beautiful day so we got some pictures outside!

We also walked around the new mall and it was awesome!  I felt like I was in a big city!

We got kind of bored so we decided to google hikes around Salt Lake and found one with a waterfall.  It was a place called Adams Canyon.  We didn’t have the most wonderful attire and next to no water but we attempted it anyways :)

We got a lot of “why did you do your hair to go hiking and your wearing that outfit?!!!” stares but that made it that much better :)

We hiked awhile and realized we took the wrong turn so we turned around and kept going.  We hiked for about an hour wondering where this waterfall was.

The trail started getting a little less civil and way harder to hike in flip flops and church shoes.  We finally got to the small waterfall which the people we saw said it was about halfway.   We wanted to see the big one so bad but with no water and a few blisters on our feet we decided to turn around!

Here we are in my fancy flip flops and Jake’s church shoes!  It was a lot of fun and we decided we want to do it again with the right attire and more water!
